The Beauty Therapy courses provide training for individuals seeking professional employment in the beauty industry. Study in the many areas of beauty could lead to employment in a beauty salon, a spa complex, a hairdressing salon, a pharmacy, a department store or a health and fitness centre. The Beauty Therapy courses also qualify students to work as specialists in one of the many high demand areas of beauty such as nail technology, make-up artistry and natural therapies.
A beauty therapist offers many services ranging from cosmetic make-up, manicures, pedicures and waxing to the therapeutic/physical treatments of lymphatic, sport and remedial massage. Students will also gain knowledge of how business principles operate in the real world. The course includes 266 hours of work experience that can be completed in the College's simulated salon or in a salon of the student's choice.
We are proud of the high reputation our graduates enjoy and are committed to the continuous improvement of your learning experience. This is why The Australian College of Hair Design and Beauty leads its competitors with the most modern facilities and equipment.
